Book Review: The Other Woman

Title: The Other Woman
Author: Sandie Jones

The most twisty, addictive and gripping debut thriller you’ll read this year.

HE LOVES YOU: Adam adores Emily. Emily thinks Adam’s perfect, the man she thought she’d never meet.

BUT SHE LOVES YOU NOT: Lurking in the shadows is a rival, a woman who shares a deep bond with the man she loves.

AND SHE’LL STOP AT NOTHING: Emily chose Adam, but she didn’t choose his mother Pammie. There’s nothing a mother wouldn’t do for her son, and now Emily is about to find out just how far Pammie will go to get what she wants: Emily gone forever.

THE OTHER WOMAN will have you questioning her on every page, in Sandie Jones’ chilling psychological thriller about a man, his new girlfriend, and the mother who will not let him go.

My Review

This book took me completely by surprise. The way it started made you think this was just another soon to be mother-in-law that hated her soon to be daughter-in-law. Oh, but it was so much more then that. Then you throw in the groom’s brother, ex-girlfriend, and several other people in the plot line and you really can not figure out what is going on. By the time you actually figure out what is going on you are sitting there thinking how much more is this woman gonna take from this family. Then when the “proverbial shit hits the fan” you are sitting there with your jaw on the ground not even expecting what happened to have happened.

That being said you need to read this book. The characters, the plot line, and the twists and turns it does makes for it to be a very interesting read. I highly recommend it.
